Whether it’s an intimate family meal, a festive afternoon tea or an office party night – there is something for everyone throughout December at The Old Deanery.

Open log fire, warm welcome and stunning food. Dine & drink in style throughout December, sat in the shadow of the magnificent Ripon Cathedral.

1st December – 31st December – Celebrations & Seasonal Dining

Take a peek at our December Menu, available for private parties throughout December. Enjoy your complimentary private dining room with festive decorations and of course the Christmas crackers.

Our Daily Menu will also be available for lunch & dinner, with a few festive twists to suit the season.

Have a sweet tooth? We are also serving our festive afternoon teas for only £12.50 per person (pre-booking essential)!

13th & 15th December – Christmas Parties!

Drinks reception, 3 courses & a disco until midnight – celebrate the festive season with your staff, friends or family! See our Christmas Party Night Menu and book early to avoid disappointment.

24th December – Christmas Eve

Join us for an intimate meal or a few drinks in front of the fire – The Old Deanery is the perfect place to relax before heading over to Midnight Mass at the neighbouring Ripon Cathedral or heading home ready for the celebrations of Christmas Day!

25th & 26th December – Christmas Day & Boxing Day


31st December – New Year’s Eve

Dinner & Dance! Welcome in the New Year here at The Old Deanery – champagne & canapé reception followed by our exquisite 5 course New Year’s Eve Menu. Conclude the night with dancing in the lounge, leading up to the midnight celebrations.
