Deanery Steak Night – Saturday 15th July
Join us for the ultimate steak night on Saturday 15th July here at The Old Deanery – celebrating everything that is glorious about steaks!
General Manager of R&J in Kirkby Malzeard and fifth generation master butcher, Ryan Atkinson, will guide you through the six steaks sampled throughout the evening. Served as they should be: ready from the grill in a relaxed casual style, with fries, watercress, roast vine tomatoes, and a few classic sauces to match.
Starting with the lesser known hanger steak and flat iron steaks, then moving on to rump steak and fillet, followed by a sirloin steak. Finally the star of the night, you will try a sirloin steak which has been aged for 60 days in a Himalayan salt chamber, adding a flavour and tenderness which is outstanding.
Once you have had your fill of steak, finish the night with a cheese board to share on your table
There will be around 18oz of steak per person, accompanied by a perfectly matched glass of wine or beer to start you off!
All the steaks will be cooked to varying degrees of pink
