Bodegas Tradicion Sherries & Tapas – Friday 16th September
Tucked away in a small bodega just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Jerez, there are barrels of sherry maturing very slowly into one of the most sublime liquids in the world. In fact they have been maturing so slowly that there are traces of wines in these barrels, and in the bottles, to be tasted as part of this event dating back to the 19th century.
Judge for yourself if these are the finest sherries by coming along to a sherry, tapas and Havana cigars (optional) evening here at The Old Deanery on Friday, September 16th. Our host for the evening is Eduardo Davis, who splits his time between Jerez, Madrid and the UK. He will reveal to us the innermost secrets and history of the Bodegas Tradicion range. This is a not to be missed opportunity to taste wines with ages ranging from 10 to 45 years old.
The event receives support from the Sherry Institute of Jerez, allowing for a very attractive ticket price. Numbers are limited to 30 so make sure you are one of the lucky ones attending this fascinating and lively evening.
Ticket price is £30/person or £45/person with cigar (Ramon Allones Limited Edition – retail price £20.00).
See the tapas menu, along with the perfectly matched sherries here.
If you’d like to accompany the evening with a stay in the hotel, we are reducing our room rates for those attending to only £95 per double or £85 per single (bed & breakfast)
Booking is essential – see you there!
