Afternoon Tea at The Old Deanery...
A perfect setting for Afternoon Tea! Find a seat in our Jacobean mansion and settle in for an afternoon of tasty treats from our kitchen. Choose a cosy sofa, the cool chef’s lounge, or of course our refined restaurant, and let us look after you. Served Thursday to Saturday, 12noon – 3pm. Booking essential.
Sample menu, subject to change:
- Selection of delicious finger sandwiches with a variety of fillings
- Scottish smoked salmon with crème fraiche and blinis (add caviar for £10 per person)
- Home-made fruit scone, baked every morning, and served with butter, jam, and clotted cream
- Award winning Macaron made by friend of The Old Deanery, Master pâtissier, Florian Poirot
- One of our most popular puddings, rich and indulgent Chocolate mousse

- Unlimited hot drinks from our “coffee culture” menu
£39 per person
We are open from Wednesday lunchtime for drinks only, and we are open from Thursday mornings to Sunday afternoons, serving breakfast, afternoon tea and lite bites during the daytime, a signature tasting menu each evening, and Sunday lunches every Sunday. Breakfast, afternoon tea, evening meals, and Sunday lunch must be pre-booked. The lite bites menu operates on a walk-in basis and reservations are not required.
